For good luck, we are keeping this page up from the last running of the ISC.  We look forward to posting new courses for 2018.  Fingers crossed!

******

Courses for 2013 will remain the same as 2012.  If you were unable to attend the race in 2012, below is an explanation of the adustments from our original course.  At the end find the 2013 maps and descriptions for downloading.

******

The biggest adjustments are to the Jr. Short Course (6.5 miles) and the Category 3 Course (8 miles).  Both of these courses will be a point-to-point format.  It was the best way the Idyllwild Spring Challenge can assure fun and exciting routes for these racers until all trails are reopened in May Valley.  The Finish Line will be located 3 miles up Hwy 74 at the Living Free Animal Sanctuary.  Parking will be available for anyone wishing to be at the Finish and a shuttle will be provided to return racers back to the main Expo.  A percentage of the Junior and Category 3 entries will go towards caring for the animals at the sanctuary.  Thank you to Living Free for their generous support of the race!

The other 3 courses are the same as 2011with the exception being at the end.  Instead of going down the Exfoliator trail, racers will return to the Expo and Finish the same way the course began after they exit the Coffee Pot Trail (route will continue down May Valley Rd, Johnson Meadow, Recovery Trail and finishing with a fast downhill on Keen Camp).

These adjustments will have no effect on the quality of all courses and will be an exciting change!

*** We highly recommend printing the directions along with your map since the trail network does not yet have signage.
